Researchers at Bitdefender discovered a new TrickBot module dubbed rdpScanDll that allows attackers to run brute-force attacks against Windows Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connections. The majority of attacks observed by researchers target the telecommunication industry, with some also observed against education and financial services in the US and Hong Kong.
Adobe released an out-of-band security update addressing 41 flaws in Adobe Acrobat and Reader, ColdFusion, Experience Manager, Photoshop and more. Of the vulnerabilities 29 are critical in severity and 12 are rated as important.
QuoIntelligence estimated in February that remote working will increase due to the spread of coronavirus and this forecast has been realized over the previous weeks.
