FireEye announced that a state-sponsored attacker breached its infrastructure and accessed FireEye’s collection of Red Team assessment tools. These tools, which comprise FireEye’s security auditing framework, replicate capabilities of various cyber threat actors and consist of both publicly available tools and in-house frameworks.
Vulnerabilities
In December’s Patch Tuesday, Microsoft released new patches for 58 vulnerabilities in a variety of Microsoft products, including Windows, Office and Office Services, Edge, Exchange Server, and more. Of the 58 vulnerabilities, nine are critical, 46 are important, and three are moderate.
