The Grandoreiro Banking Trojan Reemerges Targeting More Than 1,500 Banks Globally

Since March, IBM X-Force has observed large-scale phishing campaigns distributing the Grandoreiro banking trojan, targeting over 1,500 global banks across 60 countries. The malware features updated string decryption, a new domain-generating algorithm, and uses Microsoft Outlook clients on infected hosts to spread further phishing emails.
