Frankfurt, 26 October 2026 – Christian Lindner has invested in QuoIntelligence, the Frankfurt-based cyber threat intelligence company named Europe’s Most Promising Cybersecurity Startup 2026 by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). The investment follows QuoIntelligence’s €7.3 million Series A financing round completed in April 2026.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Lindner’s investment reflects his confidence in QuoIntelligence’s business model, team and market position. He sees the company as well positioned to scale its European cybersecurity business from an already established base.
Christian Lindner said:
“Europe needs more technology companies that can compete internationally in strategically important markets. QuoIntelligence combines human expertise with AI-driven technology in an area where demand is growing rapidly. I am pleased to support the company as an investor in its next phase of European growth.”
As cybersecurity becomes an increasingly strategic issue for European organizations, the ability to rely on European technology and infrastructure is gaining importance. For QuoIntelligence, digital sovereignty is a core part of its model: its intelligence is produced by analysts based in Germany, Italy and Spain, while customer intelligence data remains within the EU.
New European rules are increasing the pressure on organizations to strengthen their cyber resilience. In Germany alone, NIS2 is expected to bring around 29,500 organizations into scope, while DORA has raised the requirements for technology risk management across the financial sector. Many of these organizations now have to manage cyber risks systematically, often without a dedicated security team. QuoIntelligence already serves such organizations, from transportation and manufacturing to finance and retail, as well as EU institutions: In 2025, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) awarded the company a four-year, €1.4 million contract in an open tender to provide cyber threat intelligence services.
Marco Riccardi, founder and CEO of QuoIntelligence, added:
“What struck me when I first met Christian Lindner was his entrepreneurial mindset. He immediately focused on the questions that matter to any founder: the market, the business model and the team. That perspective makes him a valuable investor for us. Our ambition is to become the European leader in cyber threat intelligence: a company that European organizations can trust because it understands the risks they face and how they operate.”
